The 2008 Hometown Heroes received their awards and spoke to the audience about the importance of being so involved in the community, and role models to our youth. Sports Fans Choice Award for Outstanding Team Achievement was presented to the Wolvevs for their Championship 2008 season. Accepting on behalf of the Wolves organization are players: Jordan LaValle, Coach Wendell Young and GM Kevin Cheveldayoff.

Coach Joel Quenneville, John McDonough - President, and players Jonathan Towes and Duncan Keith accept the 2008 Commitment to Excellence Award on behalf of the Blackhawk organization.

Sports Profiles honored Hall of Famer, and former Chicago Bear - Dan Hampton for all that he has done for the city of Chicago. And all of the excitement and dedication that he brought to the field as a Chicago Bear.

Lance Briggs autographs a football for the silent auction at this year's Sports Fans Choice Awards Show. Net proceeds from the silent auction benefited Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
