HEY DENVER SPORTS FANS, THANK YOU FOR MAKING THE 7TH ANNUAL DENVER SPORTS FANS CHOICE SHOW WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!

This year's event was held Monday, December 8 - and had over 30 athletes in attendance, representing all of Denver's pro-teams.
Fans voted at ESPN Zone and on air online with 850 KOA Radio.

Your 2008 MVP was Jay Cutler and Rising Star honors went to Brandon Marshall.

Highlights from the exclusive Red Carpet Show, will be aired as a special podcast here at SPPSports.com later in December, along with a full pictorial recap!

This year we featured a special Commitment to Excellence Award presented to Broncos alumni favorite Rod Smith. Several of Rod's alumni friends participated in this tribute such as Ed McCaffrey who presented the award, and Shannon Sharpe who joined us via a congratulatory phone in.

We will also honored those players who go above and beyond, when it comes to supporting community endeavors and charitable causes! This year's Home town Heroes included: from the Broncos – Jay Cutler and Marlon McCree, from the Crush - Delvin Hughley, from the Mammoth - Dan Carey and from the Nuggets Linas Kleiza.
